A contradiction in terms, the Moooi Gothic Chair
is a modern work of art, originally created for the Groninger Museum in
the Netherlands. Designers from Studio Job re-interpret the solid wood
and romantic elegance of the Gothic style and present a playful chair
made from brightly colored rotation molded plastic and contrasting
upholstery buttons.Moooi creates modern pendant lighting, lamps, and a unique array of suspension lighting. Founded by Marcel Wanders and first presented in 2001, Moooi creates products that satisfy the customers' desire for individual style, and features designers such as Ross Lovegrove and Erwin Olaf.
