The Party Wall Sconce by Moooi features a cavalcade of colourful characters that represent distinct sides of the human drama, whether it be a comedy or tragedy. Furthermore, each alluring face is connected to the other through an intriguing backstory, whether it be the aspiring aristocrat, the evil genius, the patriot, the rebel, or the opportunist. While each face has its own personal features, all are made from a granular casted ceramic that’s been finished in a rustic concrete glaze. They also contain an internal solid state LED light source that, once lit, shines through the eyes and mouth bringing each character’s dark nature to light. Customize a setting by placing different faces together, mixing and matching to create an entirely unique dynamic.
